The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) pulled an Ed Westwick drama and stopped filming for his comedy series amid two women accusing him of rape, the organization announced Friday.

Westwick, a British actor, is known for his role on “Gossip Girl.” BBC will not air an Agatha Christie special “Ordeal by Innocence” and will disrupt filming on the TV series “White Gold” due to alleged rape investigations against Westeick, reported Variety.

“The BBC is not making any judgment, but until these matters are resolved we will not include ‘Ordeal by Innocence’ in the schedules. The independent production company making ‘White Gold’ has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations,” said the BBC in a statement.

The actor denied the rape allegations on Twitter Tuesday after actress Kristina Cohen alleged he assaulted her. “I do not know this woman,” Westwick said. “I have never forced myself in any manner, on any women. I certainly have never committed rape.”

Cohen filed a police report to the Los Angeles Police Department to press the allegations.

Actress Aurélie Wynn also accused Westwick of rape, she wrote on Facebook Wednesday. Westwick denied this later that day on Twitter.

Westwick wrote the claims are “disheartening” and he would never do something so “horrific.”
