Haas to debut new paint scheme for F1 Grand Prix of Monaco

For the third time this season, HaasF1 has updated its primary paint scheme ahead of next weekend’s Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.

Gene Haas made his long-awaited grid debut back in 2016 and did so with the familiar red, white and grey colors that have adorned many of his NASCAR entries over the past two decades. That paint scheme stayed fairly consistent over the past year and a half until last week in Spain.

There, the two cars ran a primarily black livery with streaks of red as the FIA ordered changes to driver identification stickers. For next week and beyond, the team will run a grey and black car with white trim. Team principal Guenther Steiner said this latest design is here to stay.

"It is for the whole year now," Steiner said. "With the change in the size of the numbers and its positioning, we looked into making the entire car a little more visible."
